Update Email Address
Instructions
You must do this in
order to receive course information, instructions and updates from your
instructor.
How to update your email address
Make sure your email current is current. Follow the
instructions below:
1. Click on Student Tools on the left
navigation bar.
2. Click on Personal Information
3. Click Edit Personal Information.
4. Enter your current email address in the Email field.
5. Scroll down and click the Submit
button>click the
OK button.
6. Click on Set Privacy Options.
7. Check the Email Address box (click in box).
8. Scroll down and click the Submit
button>click the
OK button.
Also, you can change your password from this menu.

Change your Pasword
Change your password to a personalized keyword with numbers that you
will remember.
Change your password
You might want to change your password to a familiar keyword,
set of numbers, or a combination of both. Make sure your
password is something common and personal...something you remember
easily. You might want to write it down in and kept it in a
private place.
1. Click on Student Tools in the left
navigation bar.
2. Click on Personal Information. > Click
Change Password.
3. Enter your new password and enter again in the
Verify Password
box.
4. Scroll down. Click th Submit
button > Click the
OK button.

Using the Digital Drop box
Store your documents and files in the Digital Drop box.
Organize and Manage your course files and documents!
Store your documents and files in the Digital Drop box (rather
than or in addition to a floppy or temporary external storage
device) This allows you to back-up, access, update and edit your
course work from any computer, anywhere, that is connected to the
Internet. This is your private storage area for your course.
Centralize and organize your course work. Send files and documents
to your instructor. All files and documents are date stamped.
Add a file or document to the Digital Dropbox
1. Click Student Tools in
the left navigation bar.
2. Click Digital Dropbox
3. Click Add File button
4. Enter a name for the file in the Name
box.
5. Click Browse button (next to File box)
6. Locate and select the file that you want to send.
7. Click the Open buton to add the file.
8. Click the Submit button > Click the
OK
button (File was not sent)
9 Click the OK button.
NOTE: The file has been added to your
private storage area in your personal Digital Drop Box...It has NOT
been sent to your instructor.
Send a file using the Digital Drop Box
The Digital Drop Box allows you to send a file directly to the
course instructor.
1. Click on Student Tools in the left
navigation bar.
2. Click the Send File button.
3. Do one of the following:
a. To select a file that has
already been added, click the arrow on the Select File box and
select a
file from the display menu.
b. To send new file, enter a name for the file in the
Name
box.
Click the Browse button next to the
File
box.
Locate and select the file you want to send and click
the Open
button to add the file.
Enter
descriptive text to be submitted with the file in the
Comments box.
Click
Submit.
Click
OK. (your file will be sent to your instructor and date
stamped.)
You will have a list of all the files you have sent, along with
the date you sent them.

Using Messages
Send messages to your instructors and classmates.
Creating a new message
1. Click on the Messages button
or
Communication > Messages in the left navigation bar.
2. Click the New Message button.
3. Click the To button.
4. Select a recipient in the Select Recipients
box, and click the Add Recipient bottom.
Repeat for each recipients.
5. Click the Submit button.
6. (Click the Cc and Bcc buttons to send copies to
additional users)
7. Enter a message subject in the Subject box.
8. Enter a message text in the Body box.
9. Click the Submt button. > Click the
OK
button.
Reading a message
1. Click on the Messages
button or
Communication > Messages in the left navigation bar.
2. Click on Inbox.
3. Click the subject name to open the message.
4. Optional Reply: Click Reply, Reply
All, or Forward. Select recipients and click Submit.
5. Click the OK button when you are
finished reading and/or replying to message.
Check your messages on a regular basis!

1. Click Student Tools in
the left navigation bar.
2. Click My Grades
